These paintings started in late October 2015 and were an ongoing project for about five years. They are acrylic paint on stretched canvas. I have always painted, but not like this. This series contains about 200 images.

They started as a reflection on my grief after my husband's death, a memorial project.

It started here. As the series grew, I thought metaphorically about positive and negative spaces, overlapping forms, similarities to other natural forms, light and shadow, contrast and harmony, the infinitesimal and the infinite.
